Grant Hill broadcasting nba summer league reminds us that there are 3 roles for some: 1) the piano artist or composers, 2) the piano tuners, and 3) the piano movers and he classified coach mark madsen as the piano mover at least on the basketball court and grant probably was aware of how his own role on the court changed because of injuries where the artist, can become a coach while healing, or an integral part of the team as the mover that keeps the team going and moving forward we need the player, the tuners and the movers to put on a great concert or a great night of entertainment in a professional basketball game for a day :) Even if its just a summer game with Marv Alber't on Bastille Day with the warriors and lakers. And Kristin Ledlow doing the highlights for the rookies in vegas. To me it reminds me very much of 1) being blessed as a soloist, 2) blessed as a family 3) blessed as someone who serves all the singles and all the families within any organization or neighborhood.

the pastor at the concert spoke on the challenges that the disciples faced when asked to walk on water by jesus. 1) trusting god to lead us, if we had to walk the sea of galilea it would take 5 days to walk that distance on foot, 2) the felt strained and threatened in their lives but god reminds us that we are never alone hebrews 13:5, 3)fear and faith cannot exist within the same heart we are either a heart full of faith, or a heart crippled by fear. If we allow fear into our hearts it is because we believe god sent us here to be troubled. But clearly god did not come for us, or send us to earth to be troubled or screw up our lives. Rather God sends us here to be the answer to the prayers we are called to be as daughters and sons of God through Mama Mary and baby Jesus at the Nativity...Mama Mary connects all of us to God the Father, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus who came to serve and not to be served. 5) and lastly Jesus sends miracles to amaze us when we are not expecting it moments to awe us beyond our own beliefs and comprehension. I loved the concert and met Moriah's sister Bianca and 3 of Bianca Peters friends: kennedy, taylor and caroline. But a minister on the church campus named Rich asked me to leave the church grounds. In any case I still love Moriah's Music and met the wife, Jessie a guitarist, who is married to Tim a drummer from King and Country. Joe from King and Country is Moriah Peters husband. I have videos from the concert, but I just want to tell you it is a great set of songs and I may post one of them on youtube. But go out and buy the cd or download the mp3s. I also liked the brave bracelets, the black brave cap, and the shirts from her new album. The staff at air one were super friendly too. Overall a good day, I thought my phone was stolen when I went to take a picture after the concert but thankfully David and staff at Moriah's booth protected my phone from being lost or stolen. So God is good all the time: and all the time God is good. I was emptying my whole backpack to find my phone camera.
