For the future I am looking to work on stories about women in athletics and how to empower and encourage our future sons and daughters, mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters in christ to be filled with the holy spirit. I want to work with Catholic and Christian students especially with athletics so that I can help create and foster professional leagues for women to grow and be respected the same as professional men's leagues are today. I love reading books like wisdom walks, strengths finder, and doing an exercise in charisms to learn what I am good at for serving my neighborhoods, and while at the Journey Young Adult group at ST John Neumann church in Irvine: led by Jen Sumcad, Jordan Hanson, and Maebeth Alva I learned that my personal charisms are for writing, music, leadership, pastoring, and intercessory prayer. Our charisms can change throughout our lives so it is good to do the test over again after a few years to see if you have fully developed them, or if you have new charisms to improve at those times. It is also amazing that people that are handicapped, or mentally ill, or in need of support because of violence or identity theft are left to feel ashamed of who they are and marginalized away from the group because they approach life in a different way. That is why I hope to raise funds and awareness of the fact that mental health takes time and patence.
